Access Pediatric Systems Improvement Data
Data collected through national surveys and displayed here on the CAHMI are an excellent source for understanding the status of children’s health both nationally and in states. Choose below from several national initiatives and data sources to begin your search.
Use the CAHMI to access system performance measures from the National Survey of Children’s Health
The NSCH is one of the broadest assessments of children’s health in the country. A large sample size in every state allows for multiple subgroup comparisons across indicators.
Use the CAHMI to meet Healthy People 2020 objectives
View multiple measures from the National Survey of Children’s Health (NSCH) and the National Survey of Children with Special Health Care Needs (NS-CSHCN) that pertain to the Healthy People 2020 Objectives. Some of these measures use the national surveys as their official data source.
Use the CAHMI to access Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) Core Outcomes for CSHCN
The NS-CSHCN is the premiere source of information on children with special health care needs (CSHCN) in the country. With data from this survey, anyone can see how CSHCN are faring across the states.
